AUGUST...
Thankfully, Mother Nature was very cooperative on our drill days while we were stuck outside. Yet this being August, we kept in the shade. And we received promising news that the Ketcham Inn in Center Moriches wished to have us for Columbus Day weekend. Finally! An event for which we could plan!
SEPTEMBER...
The good weather graced us again for our monthly meeting & drill at the Grange. We had our 'social-distancing' drill and finanized plans for our Living History event at Ketcham Inn on Columbus Day weekend.
NOVEMBER...
A local spike in cases forced us back online for our closing meeting of the season. Yet we still managed to squeeze in a full weekend event at the Ketcham Inn, a Veterans Day ceremony, continue our unbroken tradition of attending Remembrance Day by sending four men to Gettysburg, and even fit in an impromptu local Remembrance Day at the grave of General Regis DeTrobriand. Hopefully, we will NEVER have go back online again.
