2020 Season
Monthly Drills & Meetings at the Grange

January 26 - November 29, 2020
We were hardly alone in watching all our plans for 2020 getting wiped out by the Pandemic. Nevertheless, we persevered with what we could do and managed to hold nine of our eleven scheduled meetings & drills at the Grange either online or in person when restrictions allowed. The 2020 season also witnessed the election of our Fifth President, Richard Coleman, during our elections at the January meeting.
JANUARY...
Fortunately, we had one of those (relatively) mild & sunny January days to open our 23rd season. We kicked off with some drill, avoiding the boggy marsh of the green just inundated with rain. After shaking off the rust, we had our Opening Meeting to discuss our schedule and hold elections. Our current President, Captain Tom Demaria, stepped down from that Admin post in favor of our new President, Rich Coleman, who now becomes the 5th man to hold the job.
FEBRUARY...
Thankfully, we had sunny & very mild weather for our February meeting & drill. We practiced for the upcoming Westhampton Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade. Yet this meeting was memorable for the formal handing over the Presidency to Corporal Richard Coleman who is only the fifth person to have the title. We all wishing Richard the best of luck!
