2020 Season
Monthly Drills & Meetings at the Grange

Sayville, NY

January 26 - November 29, 2020

MAY...
Once New York was struck, the dominos fell quickly. The Westhampton Beach St. Patrick's Day parade was first followed by our March & April meetings, Smithtown, and Pennypacker Mills. We used Zoom to hold our May meeting and managed to pull it off with no trouble.

JUNE...
After four months, we were finally allowed to return to the Grange and held our June meeting. Of course, this was the 'Don't Stand to Close to Me' edition but drill we did... spacing out (literally, not figuratively) and going through the Manual of Arms and Loading & Firing. We held our meeting and our Captain, Tom Demaria, was ambushed with our traditional 10th Anniversary membership celebration with gag gifts. Max Rowland provided the soundtrack for our meeting. Granted, it was far from what we wish but more than what we had.

JULY...
In the wake of the cancellation of our main event of the year, the Civil War Weekend at the Grange, we carried on with our monthly drill and meeting at the Grange. Even with social distancing, we managed to focus on Manual of Arms, Loading, and Firing Positions.
