Remembrance Day

Gettysburg, PA

November 16, 2024

Mother Nature graced us with one last perfect weekend of weather this season for our annual pilgrimmage to Gettysburg. On Friday night, we dined at the old Fairfield Inn, which is under new management as the Mansion House 1757. On Saturday morning, we conducted a trio of ceremonies on Culps Hill beginning with our own followed by the 65th NY and 122nd NY. The former was the home of many 67th NY veterans that re-enlisted after the mustering out of our regiment and the latter fought with us in the same brigade. Of course, we marched in the parade and enjoyed the evening at the Ski Liberty/Carroll Valley Resort in Fairfield.
