160th Anniversary
Battle of Cedar Creek

Middletown, VA

October 19 - 20, 2024

The 67th NY traveled to Cedar Creek for the first time in five years to participate in the 160th anniversary of the battle with our new battalion, the Army of the Rappahannock. From what we learned from the organizers, there were about 3,000 reenactors on the field and we fought two battles on Saturday and once on Sunday. We could not have had more spectacular autumn weather with not a single cloud in the sky from start to finish. And while cold at night, there wasn't a trace of wind and we witnessed a near full moon arching over the sky.
