155TH ANNIVERSARY
The First Battle of Bull Run

Just like five years previous, this anniversary of First Bull Run (Manassas) unfolded in temperatures hovering around 100F. The site was a familiar one, Cedar Creek battlefield located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virigina which if far cooler on our usual visits in October. We sent a sizeable contingent of 16 members who all managed to survive the heat and return (relatively) unharmed).
