165TH ANNIVERSARY
The First Battle of Bull Run

Brandy Station, VA

May 15 - 17, 2026

The organizers wisely shifted this event from the true anniversary (late July) to a more hospitable mid-May and while it was still hot, the weather was nowhere NEAR the infernos of past anniversaries (see HOTnassas 150). There was one battle each on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday evening there was an improptu tug-of-war contest in the Federal camp with our Team ARRA winning the grand prize (an apple pie). We sent nine men down to Virginia and all returned safe & sound if sweaty.
