Smithtown Historical Society Civil War School Program

Smithtown, NY

May 18, 2016

We were very lucky for our 13th visit to Smithtown Historical Society for their annual Civil War Educational program. We had perfectly dry and reasonable temperatures for performing in front of a maximum capacity audience from schools drawn from every quarter of Long Island. We also fieled the largest force ever for this event: fourteen men thanks to a school of Fresh Fish that swam into our waters of late. In addition to the three Confederate regiments on Long Island (the 9th, 30th, and 57th Virginia) we also had our horse soldier friends from the 10th NY Cavalry.
