Westhampton Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade

The brutal hand of winter let up for one day so that we could march in sunshine and 'relative' warmth. We fielded nineteen men and the 9th Virginia joined us in large numbers for this first parade of the season. We wore our new Hardee hats and marched with black ribbons pinned to our frock coats to pay homage to our fallen member, Jerald Lane, who we lost only one week previous.
