Year in Review
Early in the first year of the Millennium, the 67th NY, First Long Island was officially invited into the Mifflin Guard battalion. Our Preservation Committee was created, and we started making the first of many donations to the American Civil War Trust. As for events not caught on camera, we attended Neshaminy once more and taught at many educational programs including a very soggy, rainy Hallockville Farm program in May. Yet the highs were all captured here, including our first Memorial Day Parade, an historic weekend of Living History on the Gettysburg battlefield, and the adoption of an unexpected mascot at Cedar Creek.
