Smithtown Heritage Festival
Smithtown Historical Society
Smithtown, NY
September 17, 2006

The Smithtown Historical Society invited us to participate in their annual Heritage Festival and set up a Living History encampment. The 9th Virginia served as our enemy for the day while a trio from the 119th NY fell in with us to augment our ranks. We had perfect weather that day and managed to get along with the odd assortment of groups that typically take part including folk singers, Revolutionary War reenactors, Old Time baseball players, antique car dealers, not to mention an intimidating flock of falcons.
