Civil War Encampment

Smithtown, NY
May 15 - 17, 2009

FINALLY!!! After four years Mother Nature showed us mercy for the Friday school program and refrained from unleashing torrents of rain upon us. The Confederates (9th and 30th Virginia), the 10th New York Cavalry, Jackson's Flying Artillery, and us Bluebellies were able to deliver a great show for the 600+ kids that attended. As for the 67th New York we had a fine Muster Roll: 11 men on Friday and 10 for the Living History on Sunday.
