Mifflin Guard Living History Encampment
Gettysburg National Park
July 1-2, 2006

Our ranks were swelled considerably for our Living History event at Gettysburg thanks to the postponement of the Annual Re-enactment that was to be held the very same weekend. The Mifflin Guard fielded eight companies instead of the usual five plus our regiment was able to form its own company thanks to eight guest from the 119th NY. The National Park Service unfortunately did not arrange our traditional Saturday 'Ranger Walk' whereby we recreated movements on the battlefield for the public however our top brass did arrange an impromptu walk on Sunday morning that offered a grateful change from drill, drill, and more drill.
