Fortunately, the rain and storms forecasted never materialized and we had fine weather for this year's encampment at Bald Hill Schoolhouse in Farmingville, Long Island. We were the guests of the 30th Virginia Infantry, Company B and Farmingville Historical Society and we were joined by period musicians, Mary Nagin and Maria Fairchild.
