Veterans Day Ceremony at Captain Dermody Triangle

This Veterans Day we returned to Captain Dermody Triangle in Bayside, Queens at the invite of the Bayside Historical Society. Since our Memorial Day 2022 visit, the NYC Parks department had completely renovated the small park and a new historical plaque was installed to replace the bronze one stolen back in the 70s. With fine weather, we had a huge crowd in this small park honoring one of the original members of the 67th NY. Special thanks to Bayside Historical Society for several of the photos.
