Veteran's Day Ceremony at Lakeview Cemetery

Patchogue, NY

For our third time, we joined local Veterans' organizations in dedicating a new headstone for a Civil War veteran interred at Lakeview Cemetery in Patchogue, LI: Corporal Lewis Hallock of the 15th NY. A short ceremony, we delivered the traditional three volleys over the grave. Chaplain George Munkenbeck gave the invocation. And we ended with a march over to the grave of a Revolutionary War veteran.
