Veteran's Day at Lakeview Cemetery

For the second time, we were invited by the Sons of Union Veterans to their Veterans Day Ceremony at Lakeview Cemetery in Patchogue, LI. This year, they rededicated four new headstones for four Civil War soldiers (including one Confederate!). We were joined by a few members of the 9th Virigina. And George Munkenbeck, also of the Sons, presided over the ceremony. Brisk yet dry weather, we fired off three excellent volleys even with Fresh Fish in our ranks.
