Hempstead Memorial Day Parade

While not a 'regimental' event, several of us joined he local chapter of the Sons of Union Veterans, Moses A. Baldwin Camp #544, for the Memorial Day Parade in Hempstead, Long Island.The parade ends in Greenfield Cemetery where we partook in a ceremony for the War dead that included an honorary volley fired over the grave of Moses A. Baldwin himself.
