Grant & Lee Exhibit
New York Historical Society

New York, NY

February 14, 2009

Seven of us celebrated Valentine's Day by performing a Living History at the New York Historical Society in support of their Grant and Lee exhibit. For the six month duration of the exhibit, the NYHS invited different Civil War groups to perform each Saturday to give their show a more interactive element. Given this was the city, we were continuously busy with the curious both inside and outside the building. We did some drill on Central Park West to snare customers for the NYHS however we had tough competition from the Museum of Natural History next-door. We did have a strategy for leading an assault on the neighbors with fixed bayonets however the plan was abandoned for fear of them unleashing the dinosaurs.
