Rededication of G.A.R. Monument at Roslyn Cemetery

The 119th New York invited us to partake in the long overdue rededication of the Elijah Ward Post No. 654 Grand Army of the Republic monument in Roslyn Cemetery. The original was stolen from its granite pedestal in 1992 and since then the 119th NY had been raising funds to have the statue replaced. The entire local re-enacting community was invited to attend (including the Confederates) and the 52th NY fell in with the 67th NY for the occasion.
