Miller Place Historical Society Civil War Encampment

Miller Place, NY

May 21, 2005

This was our first time at the Miller Place Historical Society and compared to the previous day's frontal assault by 1,500 schoolchildren at Smithtown Historical Society, this was a refreshingly relaxed posting. Nevertheless, we managed to draw a respectable crowd of passersby and neighbors who were no doubt intrigued (and rattled) by the firing of our muskets.
