Year in Review

For our fourth season, we continued building upon our foundation of work. We kicked off in a festive mood with our Holiday party. Probably the most memorable of all the events was our marching in the 240th Anniversary of the NYC Saint Patrick’s Day parade so graphically chronicled by our Captain in his Field Report. We honored the fallen with a pair of ceremonies at Memorial Day and marched in the Fourth of July Parade. Spending the weekend camping on the Gettysburg battlefield is never disappointing. In the autumn, we visited the annual Monroe event upstate and of course attended Remembrance Day in Gettysburg however the occasion took on a more somber tone after 911 as our regiment of New Yorkers was so personally affected.
